The Cottage has an enclosed garden with BBQ. Hillrise Cottage can be booked alongside Hillrise Barn. With four pubs within walking distance plus local shops/amenities, the ancient village of Flookburgh is perfect for your holiday.
Hill Rise Cottage offers 2 doubles, 2 twin (1 with ensuite wc), bathroom with shower over bath, also a second family shower room, lounge, dining room, kitchen.
There is secure off road parking for 3 cars. |

For the historically minded, Cumbria offers a wealth of Celtic monuments, Roman remains, stately homes and ruined abbeys. Carlisle still has some of its ancient walls standing, as well as a Norman castle, and the western part of Hadrian’s Wall is nearby. Other places of interest include Penrith, with its castle and remarkably unchanged market square; Keswick, which was once the centre of pencil manufacturing; the busy market town of Kendal and Cockermouth, Wordsworth’s birthplace
